In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Is Jesus was in the beginning?

Maybe you will wonder why, who's God created the heavens and the earth. If I told you that Jesus the Christ was the Creator and who made heavens and earth, would you believe?
First, You and I are human; let's put this into practice, we can't do something right apart from Him. We cannot even know what's right and wrong apart from Him. So He is the author of knowing what is wright and wrong.

Would you believe that Jesus was eternally existed long before there was heavens and earth? here's why you should believe.

According to Genesis 1:1, God created the heavens and the earth. But who's this God really pointing to?

According to John 1:2-3, He (Jesus) was with God (the Father) in the beginning. 3-Through him (Jesus) all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

So, it is fully understood that Jesus was with God in the Beginning, and without Him, nothing was made that has been made; so, do we now conclude that Jesus is the creator and who made heavens and earth? YES! That's according to the bible.

But how did it happened? Well, let me explain the Identity of God the Father, God the Son and God the Spirit.

You may have heard that God the Father, God the Son and God the Spirit are one. How does it work?

Let's talk about Grammar and identical numbers.
  • 1 person can be count as One and only.
  • 1 group of people or organization can be count as one right?
So God the Father, God the Son, and God the Spirit are one; this is what we call, Tri-Unity - a God in three (3) persons.

Let's talk it in an easy way;
  • God the Father is not the Son and God the Father is not the Spirit.
  • God the Son is the the Father and God the Son is not the Spirit.
  • God the Spirit is not the Father and God the Spirit is not the Son.
Much easier to understand.
  • A cup of coffee, or should  I say 3 in 1 coffee is one.
In addition, based on the Scripture (Old-testament) written in Genesis 1:26, Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

First, let's talk about Grammar again;

Let us - is plural
Our - is plural
Image and likeness - is singular.

I strongly believe that the Bible is grammatically written! So it means that before there was heavens and earth, Jesus was there already; He was the one talking to God the Father and God the Spirit.

Now that we know that Jesus was in the beginning, who said this line? "Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness", okay, let me guess, you're confused already right? but wait! let's get back first on John 1:2-3 verses, He (Jesus) was with God (the Father) in the beginning. 3-Through him (Jesusall things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

So therefore, God the Son (Jesus) who made all things created. Jesus was not created; Jesus is and was the creator.
